Members of Parliament are demanding for the release of 568 land titles taken from residents of Masaka district by Uganda Electricity and Transmission Company Limited (UETCL) for mutation.
Edward Eyak Odongo, the Kwania District Engineer says that the roads to be rehabilitated include; 21 kilometre Atar trading center to Bala Boarder that connects Kwania to Kole district, Onywal-onote to Teogali, Abwong to Lira boarder, Nambieso to Agwata boarder that connects Kwania to Dokolo and Aboko to Chawente community access roads.
According to Bululu, the proposed Namasho district will comprise Bulucheke, Bumayoka, Bubiita, Bushiyi, Bumwalukani, Busiriwa, Bundesi, Bukalasi, Mabono, Bufuma Nalwanza, Buwali sub-counties and Kuushu Town Council.
Murungi Monica, the Ibaale HC II in charge, notes that at on several occasions they have been forced to use their own money to buy things like gloves and masks because they last received a consignment from National Medical Stores -NMS about two months ago.
