This follows a series of disagreements between Tooro Kingdom administration and Babiito elders over the management of the cultural institution headed by the world’s youngest king, Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV.

“There is a total disconnect between what we saw and what the team from Ministry of Education was telling us. First of all, they were saying that they went there and found that there is a company, which is making radios…We didn’t find that. The company doesn’t manufacture radios, they can only assemble but even the assembly plant is not there,” Othieno told Uganda Radio Network-URN.
According to the Electoral Commission, the Presidential Elections Act (Amendment 2020) clearly prohibits candidates from donate to voters during campaign time. The amendment arose from the Supreme Court's command to ensure that even the incumbent president does not make donations during campaign time under the guise of conducting presidential activities.
According to Nakazzi, prior to its elevation to a municipality, Nansana used to receive Shillings 1 billion from the Uganda Road Fund. She said the money was increased to Shillings 1.5 billion when Nansana was elevated to a municipality, which says is too little since they have to share it with the four divisions.
