Residents accusing Ibuje Sub County leaders of fraudulently taking 105 million shillings which was reportedly deposited into the Sub County account by Sadeem Al Kuwait Construction to allow them to gain access to the rock to conduct quarrying for the tarmacking of Rwenkunye-Apac-Lira Road.
At about 9:45 am, Ibuje Primary School located in Ibuje sub-county Apac district received examination materials meant for Boke Primary School, which is sitting at Alenga Primary school examination centre.
The small canoes carry a total of 9 passengers at a cost of 1000 shillings per head without luggage. They charge 4000 for a person crossing with a bicycle and 5000 shillings for one with a motorcycle. Luggage are charged separately depending on the size and weight.
In a letter dated the 27th April 2020, addressed to the Apac Resident District Commissioner Beatrice Akello Akori, the residents note that over 10 trucks carrying about 8-10 people are seen in the area daily, which they fear could put their lives on the risk of contracting COVID-19.
