On Sunday, 32 youths from different parts of Eastern Uganda underwent trials at the Njeru based FUFA technical center in Buikwe district. Twenty participants made it through the trials, which included physical fitness, health checks and dribbling skills.
“Football is won through moments and She-Maroons had their moment, which they used to score a winning goal. We are first-timers in this elite league and for sure the girls, most of whom are ordinary Level students, played their best, they have received the necessary exposure and if circumstances allow, they will play much better next season,” he said.
