Two of the suspects were found with military tee-shirts belonging to Uganda Peoples Defence Forces-UPDF and one bullet, phones, laptops and handbags as well as rudimentary weapons like Pangas, Axes, nails, and hammers which they have been using to assault the members of the public in several attacks and robberies.

He warns those that plan to misuse the service by giving police false information and attack Uganda Police Force as an institution, that they shall be apprehended and charged accordingly.
Sam Onyapidi, a waiter at Munyonyo Resort hotel and resident of Kifumbira Zone in Kamwokya claims that police officers stabbed him in the stomach along Mawanda Road on Sunday night while returning from duty. Onyapidi is in the Intensive Care Unit-ICU at Mulago National Referral Hospital.
An eye witness only identified as Alex told detectives at Old Kampala police station that the argument started after the deceased asked the suspect for his balance in vain saying that he had stolen the money resulting into a fight.
