Amuru RDC Geoffrey Oceng Osborn says that in the past two weeks, he has received complaints from 9 men accusing their wives seeking family planning services without their knowledge. Earlier this month, a man in Labala Parishof Pabo Sub County beat his wife to death for having a family planning contraceptive implant without his knowledge.
Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Spokesperson ASP Luke Owoyesigyire has identified the deceased as Agnes Arinaitwe, a resident of Kasenge village in Wakiso district who was moving on a Bodaboda cycle and rummed into a truck that was entering Kampala this evening.
