According to the residents, unidentified people came to their land and started marking it without identifying themselves or even telling them their mission. Molly Nankabirwa, one of the residents, says that she saw people measuring her land and planting mark stones without introducing themselves or even telling her why they are on her land.
The girl was ejected out of her home, by her own mother, a week ago upon learning that her father was responsible for her three months pregnancy. The girl then wandered from her parent's home in Kitula to the neighbouring village of Bubira-Kalumbya where she was picked up by Resty Namaganda, a member of the Village Health Team.
