Tolbert Musinguzi, the Wakiso District Returning Officer declared Joseph Muzenze the winner of Namayumba Sub County LC 3 Chairperson by-elections after getting a total number of 2,057 Votes against his rival Mustafa Ssekweyama of National Unity Platform who got 1,391 votes, Joseph Bwete - an Independent Candidate collected 269 votes - and the Forum For Democratic Change candidate Matia Wamala who got 52 votes.
Tolbert Musinguzi, the Wakiso District Returning Officer, says the two-day’s was peaceful and asked the candidates to follow the guidelines issued by the Electoral Commission and Health Ministry.
