Kyagulanyi also says that if elected as the president, the ranking of any officer will depend on experience and training but not on their region or tribe. He also pledged to educate the children of the armed forces personnel at the university level since they are providing security to Ugandans
"In view of the foregoing, the commission under minute comp. 197 (a) 2020 resolved that candidate was ineligible to participate in the above-captioned nomination and accordingly, the commission reversed the decision of the Returning Officer Terego electoral district of nominating the Respondent” reads the letter addressed to Egama Sam Raxton Adrapi signed by the Electoral Commission Chairperson, Justice Simon Byabakama in part.
Jafari Magyezi, the Bududa District Police Commander, said no procession will be allowed to accompany Kyagulanyi in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures issued by the Health Ministry to stop the spread of the Corona Virus Disease-COVID-19.
