The government, through Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja, announced at the start of a 42-day lockdown that it would give 100,000 Shillings to persons who were identified as vulnerable at a time when the country is struggling to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
They were arrested by police on Wednesday from different parts of the city centre and taken to the Constitutional Square, where they met the Kampala Capital City minister Hajat Minsa Kabanda.
Kayabula was gunned down on December 4, 2020, as police dispersed Democratic Party and National Resistance Movement supporters who were clashing for the same venue in Nakatoogo trading center.
