Kira Municipal Town Clerk Benon Yiga stresses that over time, they have focused on short term interventions like road maintenance and filling potholes. Yiga says that the municipality will now embark on the installation of traffic lights to guide traffic flow on top of widening all the major roads linking the municipality to Kampala.
