Nakaseke Central Member of Parliament Allan Mayanja Sebunya asked Court to expedite the trial against the accused persons saying justice delayed is justice.
"Our husbands are rotting in jail for supporting Kyagulanyi. Why make us suffer? Most of us have been kicked out of our homes because of rent arrears. Our children have not reported to schools. Why? She asked. The protesters who carried placards sang songs demanding the release of the suspects and they marched from Kamwokya to the city center.
The National Unity Platform (NUP) has reiterated calls to have all of its members and supporters who are currently being held in different facilities countrywide.
