The arrested security guards have been identified as Vincent Omara, 28, Vincent Tusingwire 26, Cleophas Kansiime 22, Gad Mairiho 42 and Robert Abekani 25.
It is alleged that Mpabaisi on Friday at around 5 pm went to arrest Eraku who was being wanted on robbery charges. When he reached his home, he resisted arrest and grabbed a gun from Mpabaisi.
The persons killed are Rwothupe, 40, and a 2-year-old infant only identified as Aron, both residents of Nzorobi village in Nzorobi parish Kabale sub county.
It is alleged that on Sunday night at around 11:30p.m, six suspected thugs armed with pangas, raided the farm and attacked Awori with an intention of disarming her and stealing the cattle from the farm. They allegedly grabbed her but, in self-defence, she discharged a bullet that hit one of the thugs.
