According to Dr Tumukwasibwe, the focus of opposition-led accountability committees is Anti-corruption that includes misuse, diversion, embezzlement of public funds; stealing of public assets; nepotism in the recruitment of public servants and award of tenders and others.
However, some of the projects which received funding have stalled, raising concerns from district leaders. According to Beti Kamya, the Ministry has received more complaints about the services from Luwero and Wakiso. The complaints include lifting caveats without the knowledge of affected parties, delayed issuance of land titles, issuing multiple titles on the same land and corruption among others.
