Rebecca Kadaga, the speaker of Parliament, has halted with immediate effect the ongoing investigations by the Public Accounts committee into the financial impropriety in the office of the Prime Minister.
She says that members also agreed to adopt the PAC report on the Bugiri-Jinja road compensation but request the attorney general and works minister to explain the concerns raised in the report.
