According to Abilu, the move is aimed at ensuring that police personnel are not worried about health complications in the line of their duties. He says that the emergency services have been limited to Kampala, which required police personnel to travel to access the services.
The two-week operation was conducted from 15 districts of Buhweju, Bushenyi, Ibanda, Isingiro, Kasese, Kamwenge, Kazo, Kiruhura, Kitagwenda, Lyantonde, Mbarara, Mitooma, Ntungamo, Rubirizi, and Sheema.
