According to Niwabiine, more road deaths were recorded between 6pm and 8pm whereby 894 Ugandans lost their life. This was followed by deaths that occurred between 8pm and 10pm which stood at 514 while the third highest road deaths occurred between 4pm and 6p which stood at 511.
"Four members of the NUP Election Management Committee were abducted at gunpoint around Lungala, Mpigi, last night as they were returning from a burial in Rakai. Onlookers say several other comrades were also abducted violently and taken away in drones," Bobi Wine stated.
During Besigye and Lutale’s appearance, at least seven police patrols and three Uganda Prisons Service vehicles were parked on Kafu, Nakasero, and Kyadondo roads.
