A survey by Uganda Radio Network has established that several schools are operating boarding sections in total disregard of the standards. The scenario which puts the lives of learners at risk has been witnessed in Wobulenzi Parents\' Day and Boarding Primary School, Buyuki Primary School, Ssempa Primary School, Trust Academy, Luweero Junior Primary School, Luweero Central S.S., New Life Secondary School and Everest College among others.
In 2013, four families neighboring the school lodged a complaint in the office of the Resident District Commissioner claiming that the school had encroached on their ancestral land.
