Police Detains 21 Medical Workers in Luweero oscar kambona 4

At least 21 medical workers in Luweero district have been arrested for operating without qualifications and license, something that had put lives of patients at risk. Among those arrested is a doctor operating Kikyusa Medical Centre,10 nursing assistants, five laboratory assistants, two clinical officers and three nurses.

Namujju is on trial for four counts of forgery of stamp of office, signature and deed poll from Uganda Registration Services Bureau URSB to support her academic qualifications. Prosecution alleges that on 15th August 2015, Namujju forged the signature of Leah Agnes Kisaalu, an official from URSB when she wanted to change her names from Cissy Namujju to Cissy Dionozia Namujju.

Former Lwengo MP Arrested court costs 2 1

Gertrude Nabakira Lubega, the former Lwengo District Woman MP was arrested on Thursday over court costs related to the Bukoto South election petition. Nakabira was presented before Baker Rwatooro, the Assistant Masaka High Court Registrar who asked the operatives for the court order asking her to pay court costs which they did not have. Rwatooro released her at around 6pm without charge.
