FIFA Proposes Nine World Cup Slots for Africa 2026 world cup

FIFA is proposing that Africa gets nine automatic places up from five it currently has. This is part of the proposals being considered when the World Cup expands from 32 to 48 teams in 2026. A tenth African country will take part play-offs alongside five other teams to decide the last two spots.
