Buddo Girl Namaganda Receives Buganda's Highest Honour buganda kingdom 1 5

Yvonne Namaganda, one of the pupils who perished in the Buddo Junior School fire in 2008 is among seven people Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has awarded Buganda Kingdoms highest honour. Other recipients of the Order of the Shield and Spears or Ekitiibwa kyAmafumu nEngabo include former Buganda premier Joseph Mulwanyamuli Ssemwogerere and deceased politician John Ssebaana Kizito among others.

Suspected Counterfeit Money Distributors Arrested

Police in Kampala have arrested two young women that have been distributing counterfeit money in the central Business district. The suspects, Shakira Ninsima and Nusrat Namanya, both waitresses at Ezone Bar in Kasubi, were found with six counterfeit notes of shillings 50,000 each.
