Makerere Graduation Gown Cost Hiked makerere university 2

The university entered into an agreement with a tailoring company, Team uniform Limited, to supply gowns graduation ceremony at 75,000 Shillings. The attire has Makereres emblem and colours, two features that, until January this year, were a preserve for doctoral graduands. However, the price has since increased to 98,000 Shillings.

Kyambogo Council Approves Medical Insurance for Staff kyambogo university

Kyambogo University Council has approved medical insurance scheme to cover medical and surgical expenses for staff. All employees of the University on permanent and contractual terms are to enrol after showing proof of employment with the University. The maximum age for being a member of the medical insurance scheme has been set at 74 years.

Fault at Bujagali Caused Nationwide Blackout on Wednesday - UEGCL 1

He says whenever there is a blackout they receive instant messages. The Wednesday blackout, Mutikanga says, happened when he was in a meeting at Electricity Regulatory Authority ERA and the instant message he received was that it had been caused by an external factor. He says the external factor turned out to be a substation fault at Bujagali dam.
