The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa) has cleared Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara municipality to start hosting Uganda Premier League matches. Kakyeka Stadium, home of Mbarara City Football Club had been deemed unfit to host the games by the Federation on grounds that the facility was in bad shape and the grass messed up. The facility’s playing field had visible bare spaces which FUFA revealed could not be tolerated. The decision to have Mbarara City FC matches played in Kampala saw the local fans miss out on the home matches.

Court Orders Namilyango College to Allow Expelled Student Sit for UCE Exams Mukono High Court 2

On Thursday, the Deputy Registrar of Mukono High Court Harriet Ssali Nalukwago ruled that the school did not follow the right procedures when expelling Eronda. The school rules note that any student must be subjected to the student’s disciplinary committee before is taken to the teacher’s disciplinary committee. The headteacher then appeals to the board of governors before the final decision is taken.
