The clashes were triggered by the death of one Matayo Wulimbwa Mutsunga, a resident of Kyoho II village in Kasese district, who was attacked by unknown people on Monday evening. Eyewitnesses, who preferred anonymity, told URN that Mutsunga was accused of participating in cattle thefts in Kabonero Sub County.
The five bills were passed by Parliament in February and described them as key legislation in guiding aspirants, candidates and managers of the electoral process and the public during 2021 electoral season.
