President Museveni polled 161, 864 votes at these polling stations representing 95.8 percent of votes cast, with all other candidates including Willy Mayambala with 14 ballots cast in his favour, at least getting some votes at the 409 stations. These polling stations had 1,354 invalid votes.
Speaking to reporters at the NUP headquarters at Kamwokya on Tuesday for the first time since they were taken over by the Police on Election Day, Kyagulanyi said the Supreme Court has shown an unprecedented level of bias against him. The Electoral Commission last week reversed results of the January 14, election, through which the incumbent MP David Abala had been declared the winner. Initial Results released by Peter Toddu, the Ngora District Returning Officer indicated that Abala won the seat with 8,317 votes, against Achayo' score of 7,828 votes.
The cause of his death still remains unclear but Watmon says that they suspect that the deceased was poisoned because he had earlier in the day eaten pork at a local restaurants in Awach Trading Centre and shortly started complaining of the pain.
