Dr. lawrence Tumusiime, the Hoima district Health officer told Uganda Radio Network in an interview on Saturday morning that the health ministry delivered more than 6,990 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines in the district on Friday.
Alfred Besigensi, Kabale District Health Officer says that the meeting could not be allowed to happen because his office is not aware if the members who were attending are registered, traditional herbalists.
Although the hospital has an oxygen plant, its production does not match the demand especially during the surge of COVID_19. The current plant which has the capacity to produce 30 oxygen cylinders is now producing at least 25 yet the unit uses approximately 60 cylinders per day.
