The canceled land title is located on Elgin Road in Masaka Town; measuring measures 2.17 acres whose ownership has been under dispute between Masaka City Council and the family of late Francis Kakumba which also claims to have acquired the same land in 2011.
Some of the vacant positions include District Production Officer, Natural Resources Officer, District Procurement Officer, Health workers, Teachers and Parish Chiefs among others.
During the Barraza, the Minister learned that the community members had been told to pay money by the SACCO leaders, the Parish Development Committees, and some LCI Chairpersons to enable them to access PDM funds.
