The farmers say that the price has gone down from 1,200 Shillings per Kilo to 300 Shillings, prompting them to shift to other enterprises like Rice, Beans and Maize rather than cassava production which has become less profitable for them.
The third edition of the Education and Environment Run is being organized in partnership with several non-governmental organizations (NGOs), including Life Concern, Nebbi NGO-Forum, and Community Empowerment for Rural Development (CEFORD), along with the Zombo District local government.
