Hellen Musekwa, the Health Center in Charge, says when the ward is full patients use the concrete bench outside the ward. Musekwa notes that while packing all patients in the same ward isn’t recommended under medical practice, she has no option because of the limited working space.
Every month the centre registers 35 births, 230 prenatal and postnatal and 70 immunizations. But the facility’s Country Director Courtney Tucker has indicated that they were facing financial challenges as a result of unreliable donations.
