A twice-yearly injection has the potential to transform the way to deliver HIV prevention to people who need and want it most. It is the first big trial to reduce HIV infections to zero.
The medical camp enabled residents to be screened of various health conditions such as diabetes, cancer, HIV/AIDS, antenatal services, malaria, hypertension, eye problems, blood pressure issues, ulcers, and dental checks, among others. Maternal and child health services were also a key focus during the medical camp.
