Uganda National Teachers’ Union-UNATU has organized an ordinary congress meeting to resolve whether or not to continue with their strike over salary increment.
At least thirty schools in Buyende district have no female teachers, a challenge that has forced Universal Primary Education head teachers to appoint male teachers to perform the work of Senior Women teachers.
