Since inception of the Youth Livelihood Prgramme - YLP in 2015, up to 87 different youths’ groups in the sub counties of Awach; Patiko, Palaro, Cwero, Bungatira and Unyama have benefited from over 600 million shillings.

The whistleblowers are Augustine Bukenya Muwuluzi, Robinson Matovu, Erica Ngoye Makumbi, and Judith Nalubega. Bukenya petitioned the Land Commission of Inquiry for protection on behalf of others on Wednesday evening while appearing before the Lady Justice Catherine Bamugemereire led Land Commission of Inquiry to explain cirumstances which surrounded the scandal.
According to Kabbyanga, the municipality has already committed one billion shillings under the Uganda Support to Municipalities Infrastructure Development (USMID) Programme towards designing a drainage master plan which shall then be developed under the same program.
