The water project is funded by the Kanungu district local government and is intended to bring quality water and sanitation facilities to over 100 villages in Kyeshero sub- County in Kanungu district.
On Tuesday, the District Disaster Technical Committee noted that it is paramount to relocate at least 917 people who have pitched camp at Kanyangeya and Cremson primary schools to safer grounds.
