The newly created district is grappling with a dire shortage of teachers. The district has 71 government aided primary schools and a population of 600 out of the 821 needed teachers.
Geoffrey Opyene, the headteacher of the school questioned why UNEB had canceled the centre yet results of their candidates had not been withheld. During the time of the interview, the school had received results of the 2018 candidates.
