Dr John Baptist Odama, the Gulu Archbishop backed by Rwot David Onen Acana II, the Paramount Chief of Acholi persuaded Akena’s family who in turn opened up to the negotiations. The reconcilers summoned the two families for the first meeting that was held today in Gulu.
They were allegedly hired by one Richard Ssebina alias Sekitoleko to kill his brother Musa Katinda Bisaso, 45, a resident of Tweyanze village in Katikamu Sub County in Luweero district. Bisaaso was shot dead on the night of August 28, after being tricked to come out of his house by unknown callers.
Ocaya is now praying to the high court to nullify the nomination and stop Bosmic Otim from further competing in the Chua West Parliamentary race. He also wants to be declared as the NRM flag bearer in Chua West county.
