Lumolo’s Lawyer Hassan Kamba contested the judgement, saying some evidence disappeared from the court records. As a result, Lumolo and her team have filed a notice of appeal before Mbale High court.
“This court having found that the first respondent is the only daughter of Peter Wamala Kisiro with the names of Nambozo Florence Wamala who has Advanced Academic qualifications, it hereby confirms that the said Nambozo Florence Wamala is validly elected as the Woman Member of Parliament for Sironko District,” he said.
His Worship Emmy Sayekwo says the extension of the bi-weekly court sessions to Amudat is a step toward improving access to justice and a cornerstone in reducing crime through justice system.
