In Tooro, Karmali established Rwenzori Commodities Ltd which operates in Kabarole and Kyenjojo districts. The company rehabilitated and planted 2,556 hectares of tea out of 5,700 hectares of land. It has four tea factories Buzirasagama, Hiima, Munobwa and Kigumba.
