Islanders in Kalangala District have received 23,040 male condoms and 2000 female condoms from Family Rescue Initiative Uganda (FRI-U) just in time for the festive season
In his December 8th statement addressed to Muslim leaders at various levels, Mugalu notes that it has been observed that many mosques have relaxed on observing the SOPs and COVID-19 preventive measures put in place by the Ministry of Health. He observes that while discussing the reopening of worship places under the Inter-Religious Council of Uganda-IRCU, they agreed on a number of SOPs, which ought to enforced.
Residents said they are happy that they have seen a camel in real life, as opposed to seeing it on television and newspapers pictures. Those who paid 2000 shilling took photos while on top of it. Others followed it around, having abandoned their usual activities to be with the camel
