Tumusiime John, a farmer in Kibiimba Village says that they have failed to transport their agricultural produce and tea to the market because the roads are impassable.
A number of activities in the district have been suspended due to challenges of the system. Among the activities that have been suspended in the district include maintenance of a 261 km road network in the financial year 2019/2020 due to poor coding to access UGX 320 million from the Uganda Road Fund URF.

The team leader Dr Peter Muwereza says that the team will sensitise residents on the disease in addition to compiling an on-site report about the yellow fever threat in the district. He added that the Ministry is also mobilizing resources to carry out mass vaccination against yellow fever in the district.
The Town Clerk Emmanuel Banya says that the process has commenced with collecting baseline information from residents, sensitization of the residents about the plan and consultations with different stakeholders on their views and inputs for inclusion in the physical plan.
