Ben Peter Loburo, the LC III chairperson of Iriiri Sub County in Napak district feels that the creation of more constituencies is a burden to a taxpayer. Loburo argues that the idea of the constituency was premised on a plan to draw geographical boundaries on the basis of the tribes in the area.
The facility which was set up at a cost of 760 million shillings, under the North West Small Holder Agricultural Program, is rotting away after traders abandoned it and instead, created another market at Okubani, three kilometres from Rhino Camp trading centre.
Sam Eremu, the village chairperson of Awinyi in Kamuda Sub County says he received masks but does not have the time to distribute them to the community. He argues they are being exploited by the government which has not considered their welfare.
