Christopher Lukwiya, the Gulu City Electrical Engineer says from the last inventory they carried out few months ago, they found that 70 solar street lights were vandalized by unknown people and that because they lack equipment like crane lifter, generator and welding plant, they have not been able to repair them.
Anthony who was a cook and cleaner says their pay had been delayed due to unknown reasons, and says they remain in suspense because no information is given to them over when they will be paid and since their appointment letters were never issued to them.
John Stephen Okurut, the Chairperson of Kabarwa Dairy Plant, said the facility only worked between 2015 and 2018 after being established. He notes that trouble in the management of the facility started when the sub-county tendered it to Patrick Mwesigye in September 2018.
