Dr. Samuel Siminyu, the Managing editor of Makerere University press, says that they run under the mandate of supporting staff and students with publishing books and need a minimum of Shillings 1 Billion annually for their activities.
The beneficiaries from seven parishes are yet to receive the funds. The Parishes include Kapyani in Nankodo sub county, Namawondo in Kibuku town council, Kadoto, in Bulangila town council, Kabusule in Nabiswa sub county, Nanoko parish in Lwatama sub county.
