Oceng said that all civil servants should effective 5 July have acquired accommodation in Lamwo. He said that offices always open beyond the official time of 8:00 am as stipulated in the Ministry of Public Service standing order.
Currently, a sub-county chairperson earns a monthly pay of 420,000 Shillings, an amount that they say is less compared to the areas that they lead and serve.
The sub-county has only 8 functional water points after some of the boreholes that were drilled broke down and others dried up due to the low water level in the area.
