A High Court in Moyo will serve the districts of Moyo, Yumbe, Obongi, and Adjumani, while another in Nebbi will serve Zombo, Nebbi, Pakwach, and Madi Okollo.
Francis Ojok, the LCIII Chairperson of Koch Goma Sub County, expressed anger over the district’s decision to redirect the road to Nyamukino in Lungulu Sub County.
Dr. Patricia Achan Okiria, the Deputy Inspector General of Government, stated that the exercise is already underway, and they are urging leaders to utilize the remaining time to make their declarations before the month ends. Achan noted that only 25 percent of government officials in Moroto district have so far declared their assets and expressed hope for a positive response as the exercise progresses.
On Wednesday, Betty Namukwaya the Nakasongola District Secretary for Finance tabled before the district council a proposed budget for the financial year 2025/26 which was estimated at 38. 1 billion shillings.
Achan issued the directive on Wednesday while monitoring government projects in Kwania District, where there are allegations of mismanagement of funds allocated for the development of Aduku Seed Secondary School.
