Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire has identified the deceased as Musanje Ahmed a teacher from Masha S.S from Isingiro district, Western Uganda who died while coming out of a taxi in Seguku central zone this morning.
Attacks on motorists in jam have been reported in Wakaliga where riders wearing masks have been throwing petrol bombs at congested cars for yet to be known reasons. Siminyu says that the Immigrations directorate kept more than 3000 passports of returnees but half of them claimed their travel documents whereas the other half hasn’t bothered. The Immigrations directorate said it has tried to contact the owners to pick their passports in vain.
