The Kelpolo village LCI Chairperson Alex Apire says they received reports from locals about the wild animal after it killed and devoured one cow that it dragged for a distance from the kraal it leaped into on Wednesday night.
Katungi’s arrest follows an operation in which police recovered a motorcycle whose owner Joseph Ssebandeke, had been attacked by iron bar hitmen. Ssebandeke is in critical condition at Masaka Regional Referral Hospital.
