Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga has identified the arrested suspects as Vuma Rodgers and Somon Ocugi. Vuma, according to Enanga, is the agent for China-Uganda –Congo company while Ocugi has been storing the victims in Star Guest House at Makerere for days before smuggling them into DRC.
Fred Enanga, the spokesperson of Uganda Police Force says Paul Mubiru and Hajib Kiggundu have been charged on three counts, that is common nuisance behaviour, negligence and refusal to follow lawful inflight instructions.
Between October 23rd and November 16th, Uganda registered four bomb explosion which left nine people dead whereas more than 40 people were wounded. The latest Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) went off 13 days ago at Kampala Central Police Station (CPS) and Parliament Avenue at the office of the Inspector General of Government (IGG).
The two suspects Johnson Lapyem Lotiang and John Lokore, all residents of Tseretenya Bomah, Ikotos County of the Eastern Equatorial State were handed over to the South Sudan authorities at Apiriti border post in Madi Opei Sub County on Monday.
The case was terminated on November 22nd, according to a ruling by the Arbitration Court of the City of Moscow, after the company paid the debt it owed to the LLC “Rus Prom-Technologies” another Russian company that wanted it declared bankrupt.
