Elizabeth Nanfuka, the Commissioner for Social Rehabilitation and Reintegration in Uganda Prison Services, says that there are currently 56 social workers in prisons serving 68,261 inmates in different prisons countrywide.
Preliminary information showed that the assailants intercepted Lukambwe while crossing through the Kanyogoga eucalyptus forest near his home in Misombwa village in Ddundu parish on his way from a drinking joint in Kabembe around 11 pm.
