RDC Fatuma Ndisaba says this is the only way teachers in private schools have been surviving unlike their counterparts in the government schools who keep receiving their normal salaries. David Kiwalabye, a teacher from one of the private schools wonders whether the President closed schools or he banned teachers from teaching.
“Stop undermining us even though we originate from the same district. We know you and you know us but you must respect us because we are relatively high profile compared to you,” the RDC angrily said.
Citing Kisowera parish in Nama sub-county, Mukono district, Ssebaggala, said that the illegal settlers started destroying and stealing church property including the two acres of eucalyptus trees which they cut and sold. He said that the squatters have also started selling off plots of land and erecting buildings on the land.
Paul Kawombe, Katoogo parish councillor says the victims were allegedly picked by armed security officers who were moving in numberless cars known as drones from the villages of Katoogo, Samuuka, Kisowera, Kabembe and Buntaba in the sub-counties of Nama and Kyampisi.
The now threatened say they also get people who confront them one on one, asking them to coordinate with the alleged security organs that abducted their relatives to have them set free or else their lives may also not survive. They have now reported a case of threatening at Nama police station under reference number, SD/04/22/01/2021.
