Under their organisation, Church of Uganda Heads of Education Institutions Association, the educationists propose that instead of ending the national school prayer saying, “As my heart in yours lies” the Anglican founded schools in the diocese should include “In the name of Jesus Christ” before saying Amen.

Kennedy Oziga of among others withdrawing over Shillings 12 million from the Parish account meant for construction, selling of bricks prepared by the Christians and Eucalyptus trees planted by the Christians.

“I want to say it openly here that I discourage you from going for such prayers which are associated with witchcraft, stick to your faith and remain firm without being deviated from it,” warned Fr. Yobuta.

According to sources close to the church and vendors, the posters were pasted on the church premises by unknown persons who were driving a Toyota Hiace vehicle in the wee hours on Wednesday morning under the watchful eye of some plain clothed armed personnel.

Without a parish to call home, he's received letters of transfer, police summons, suspension, eviction notices, assault by a fellow priest and forceful eviction from a church house. According to Prosecution, Monsignor Kasto Adeti assaulted Fr. Lazarus Ejoyi with a wooden stick, and broke his right arm during an incident in the Parish priest’s residence at Ediofe Cathedral on April 29, 2020. Fr Ejoyi, who was removed by Bishop Ocan Odoki from Kijomoro Parish in 2017 and never been deployed, says Monsignor Adeti assaulted him on grounds that he was not supposed to be at the diocese.

Over 20 members of the parish pastoral council stormed Ediofe Cathedral Parish and Bishop’s Chancery this morning and started throwing out the priest’s property.

According to Monsignor Adeti, they secured a court order and contracted Apollo Court Bailifs to evict Fr. Ejoyi from Ediofe parish since he has become a nuisance but the bailiffs have failed to act despite pocketing Shillings 150,000 in eviction fees.

According to Fr. Lazarus Ejoyi, he was talking with his brother on phone when Adeti assaulted him with a club over the weekend in the Parish priest’s residence at Ediofe Cathedral.

Monsignor Kasto Adeti, the Parish Priest of Ediofe Cathedral parish and Fr. Nakari Adiga the chairman board Bishop Frederick Drandua Foundation both claim ownership of the school.

After his retirement in 2009, Bishop Drandua retired to Don Dino Orphanage Center, which he had built with the help of donors from Germany and Austria to help Orphans and vulnerable Children in the diocese.
